We've pinned down a date for the first ever Huntington Community Players alumni reunion - Memorial Day Weekend 2017 (Saturday, May 27th). Stay tuned for more information as plans are firmed up and new opportunities arise for this ultimate HCP cast party! We also want to open the invitation to arts lovers in Huntington who participated in other theatre or dance groups around town — or supported the community simply by buying a ticket. We are but a tiny percentage of people who graced the stage of the Abbott Theatre in Huntington, but we decided it was time to start doing something about having a reunion before all our memories were lost in the mists of time - kind of like a real world Brigadoon. Chris Broquet began chatting with Deb Novak and Hugh Daniel, with lots of script rewrites from many other HCP past-thespians; that led to a conversation with Joanna Sexton (who has an antique store—Hattie & Nan's in Huntington—and was a huge help in pinning down The Gazebo as a location). This is an evolving plot line, so please check back for rewrites and additional cast members!

Come relive those days and hang out with friends who you were once close enough to undress in front of in those tiny little dressing rooms at the Abbott Theatre. The building is gone but the memories and stories are still strong and just waiting to be shared. Everyone who ever sang in the chorus, painted the set or played the lead is invited to join us for the First Huntington Community Players Reunion!
